Easter at Hope Community
Why celebrate Easter? Because not only is the resurrection miraculous, it marks a turning point in history.
When Jesus said, “It is finished,” He was talking about more than the agonizing pain of crucifixion. At that moment, a permanent shift in power took place— one that still affects us today.
This Easter, discover how Jesus' death and resurrection put an end to sin, shame, and so much more. We will have three identical services at 8, 9:30, and 11 AM.
FAQs
What do you have for kids?
Hope Kids is a safe, age-appropriate environment where kids (infant-6th grade) have their own service with singing, a Bible lesson, and age-appropriate activities. This month, our 3 year old-kindergarten class is learning that “Jesus is their friend” and our 1st-6th graders are learning about “Hope.” Following each the 8,9:30, and 11 AM services, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt for those 3 years old-6th grade.
For nursing mothers, our campus also has a viewing room where moms and infants can watch the service together in privacy.
HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE?
Gatherings last about an hour and ten minutes. We start by singing three to four songs, learn about what is going on at Hope, receive our tithes and offerings, and then you’ll hear from one of our pastors. To get a feel for our teaching style, check out the current series.
Can I attend if i am [FILL IN THE BLANK]?
Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, single parent, broke, an addict, a skeptic, etc. Everyone is welcome at Hope Community. So come as you are, and we’ll see you this Easter! Our desire is that everyone would know there is hope for every home!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Most people dress casually, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable. If you’re excited about wearing an Easter dress or breaking out those seersucker pants, do it— we promise you won’t be the only one!
