Child/Baby dedication at Hope

We believe children are a gift from God - Psalm 139:13-14
We believe that God has a purpose and a plan for each of His children - Ephesians 2:10
We believe that parents have a responsibility to teach their children about God - Deuteronomy 6:6-7
Dedication isn’t as much as a statement for the child, as it is for the parents - Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Child/Baby dedication is a statement to your family, friends, and to God, that you, as parents, are taking spiritual responsibility for your child. It is a statement that you won’t be passive in your child’s spiritual growth. The dedication is a statement that you are committed to training up your child in the way he/she should go. You commit to creating this environment through your existence in they way you discipline, in the way you love, in the way you speak, and in your lifestyle. This influences your child toward Jesus.
